Practice
This assignment focuses on ideation as a visual thinking process. You are not drawing finished objects or illustrating an idea you might have. Instead, you will use visual language on paper to think, interrogate, evaluate, and make design decisions and bring the clarity to the concept you might have in your mind as you go.
Principle of aesthetic 101:
If the dominant framework is simple and predictable, use contrast in subdominant/subordinate forms to create energy and a clear focal point. If the dominant framework is dynamic, use similarity and repetition in the components to stabilize the composition and keep the information controlled.

A planar perspective framework.

Use the perspective framework to explore, test, and organize complex spatial information (proportion, contrast, hierarchy) while training your eye to read and control depth.
