Pencil+Wacom | Digital drawing
by Ding Zhou | Industrial Design 2004
During the ideation exploring process, it’s important to remember not to be prisoned by framework you put yourself in, such as constrains, physical structures, volume. Try to add or substraction certain volume of the form is a common way to approach a more dynamic solution. And in most cases, there’s also more concerns about user interface involved.
This is another acient project. My student and I had to do long distance communication with digital feedback so luckily, I still have some copy of those ideation drawings. Document Every Step of the Way! I can’t emphasize enough.
